The DMV driving classes are like a rite of passage for many teens, but it can also be a source of anxiety. Watch the video below for more insight. Whether one is preparing to take their exam or wants to ensure they’ve got everything covered, here are two tips to help out!
- Study up! Before one begins studying for the written test, they must ensure that they have all the information they need about the material covered in it. Look over all the instructor’s materials and go back through them if necessary.
The instructor may also have recommended specific books or videos that cover topics on the test. If so, review those materials as well. This will help ensure a person won’t feel overwhelmed by unfamiliar concepts.
- Practice makes perfect! Once you’ve got a handle on what’s expected, start practicing in format and style to what will appear on your official exam sheet. One can practice at home or school so that when it comes time for real-life testing with an examiner present beside them, they’ll feel more confident as opposed to nervous or worried about messing up because they don’t know what to do.
